BRITNEY SPEARS shaved her own head to spite her mother and management, a new book has revealed.
The pop star - who plays the O2 in London tonight - chopped off all her locks in 2007, shortly after announcing her divorce from KEVIN FEDERLINE.
Steve Dennis, author of tome Britney: Inside The Dream, writes: “The head-shaving had little do with self-loathing, more a loathing against the public persona that had defined her until then.

Even fans that got lucky to see the star shopping at a local Rite Aid store in Beverly Hills say that she looked upset while shopping for some x-mas gifts.
